Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Nordic Capital on a significant minority investment by Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments) in Nordic Capital’s portfolio company Regnology, alongside a new investment from Nordic Capital.

The investments enable Regnology’s further access to long-term capital, global networks and industry expertise to accelerate its expansion into more international markets both organically and through strategic acquisitions.
Regnology is a global provider of innovative regulatory, risk and supervisory technology solutions. It is used by over 35,000 financial institutions and 70 regulatory and tax authorities in Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific. Since Nordic Capital’s acquisition of Regnology in December 2020, the company exceeded its operational and financial targets and executed its value creation plan earlier than expected.
Nordic Capital is a leading private equity investor focusing on investments in the healthcare, technology and payments, financial services and service and industrial technology sectors. Since its inception in 1989, it has invested approximately €26 billion in nearly 150 investments.

CPP Investments, headquartered in Toronto, Canada, manages the fund for 22 million contributors and beneficiaries and invests globally in public equities, private equities, real estate, infrastructure and fixed income. As of September 30, 2024, its net investments through the private equity department totaled CAD 136.9 billion.
